All camera frames, OCR text recognition, and custom allergy preferences remain on your device. We do not track you, sell your information, or upload your private data to remote servers.
1. Information Collected and Camera Access
- Camera Access: Miony requests access to your device camera solely for scanning barcodes and reading food ingredient lists via Apple's native Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
- On-Device Processing: Camera images and video frames are processed in volatile memory in real time and are never recorded, transmitted, or stored on remote servers.
2. Personal Health Data & Dietary Profiles
- Your selected allergens (e.g. gluten, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts) and family profiles are stored strictly within your iPhone's local sandbox storage using encrypted iOS data protection.
- You can edit or delete your profiles and scan history at any time from within the App.
3. Third-Party Services and Analytics
- No Cross-App Tracking: Miony does not use IDFA, third-party advertising SDKs, or data brokers. We do not track you across apps or websites.
- In-App Purchases: All subscription and purchase transactions are processed securely through Apple's StoreKit. We never see or store your payment card numbers.
4. Children’s Privacy
